Just make sure you get the final price of what your buying from the salesman. Also make sure you get a final price with a breakdown of the taxes and all the extra fees they add from the salesperson before you even set foot in the finance room. They will try everything in their power to not give you these numbers. They are compulsive liars and true dirtbags! Tax, title and license are the only things you have to pay. Do Not even discuss payments with them. You can figure out what your payments will be on your phone or tablet when you have the total price of the car and the interest rate. Do Not let them force the gap insurance on you. You can purchase it though your own insurance company. The finance scumbags will lie through their teeth saying you have to get it through them. Do Not let them force their so called standard fees on you, like a 600 dollar dealer prep fee, or a 200 dollar documentation fee. All they do for that prep fee is peel the plastic coating stuff off that's on brand new cars then wash it. And if it's a used car your buying all they do is wash and vacuum it. The 200 dollar doc fee and other fees they charge for are also ridiculous. Don't pay it! Walk out.
