This is the worst place to buy anything there. Service is horrible, furniture is horrible, customer service is even worst, delivery dates are horrible and furniture within 6 weeks of buying it falls apart and it took 7 weeks before we could get someone to come and look at it to tell us it couldn't be fixed it had to be replaced. Needless to say we bought the Sofa in May and today is October 11 and still I don't have all my furniture because the DUMB ASS PEOPLE who work there doesn't have a clue as to what there JOB is, even the managers and assistance managers, they are all IDIOTS there and I can and will say this because I have experienced all of the above so PLEASE PLEASE stay away from this place because you will get screwed out of your money and PRECIOUS time. I had to go there 7 times since May.
We purchased a reclining sofa and 2 recliners in December and they were delivered in January. While the delivery drivers were removing the existing sofa, they ignored my husband's instructions on how it needed to be angled to get out of the door and they dropped it, crushing the wall of the stairwell, as well as scratching 3 other walls and the door facing and severely damaging the sofa we intended to sell. Our home was brand new, new construction we had lived in 3 months, needless to say we were extremely upset. We immediately contacted the store which told us to contact the call center. A damage claim was made and we were told someone from the claims department would contact us in 2-5 business days. When I was contacted, the lady claimed that I did not list all of the damage done to my home, therefore Rooms To Go would not pay all of the damage I was claiming. She went back to review the recorded phone call to prove to me, I did not claim all of the damage. I had in fact contacted the store, my sales lady and the call center twice within a span of 1 hour. I was forced to prove through time stamped text messages that I did in fact show my sales lady pictures of all of the damage done to my home. The lady I dealt with in claims, "Aly" literally screamed at me on the phone, and accused me of lying. That was the most heated, confrontational phone call I have ever had in my life, this coming from "customer service"! I immediately contacted the BBB of Florida where the corporate office is located. They contacted corporate on my behalf where corporate contacted me immediately and asked for pictures and information. They settled with me on a monetary amount to fix the damage to my home. I will NEVER buy another thing from Rooms To Go again!!!!!! I will tell everyone I know about the experience, and tell them not to shop there. I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased anything from there because I am not the only person dealing with issues from this company. I just hope the furniture holds up because from what I read, it doesn't sound good.
HORRIBLE DELIVERY! this is the third time and last time we ever purchase anything from rooms to go. They are all nice and friendly at the showroom but god forbid you have to make and change or return something. I ordered a twin bed for my son last month. It took a month for them to finally make the delivery. I allowed the delivery guys to put together the bed and unfortunately didn't check the bed before they left. 5 minutes after they left i went to take a look and they had installed the headboard backwards. I called the store which transferred me to their call center located in god knows where. I said please tell the drivers to come back and fix the mistake. they said they could not do that and i would have to wait for their first opening which would be 4 weeks from today. I said thats ridiculous as i could see the guys driving away and the agent told me thats the way it is. So i hung up and called the store to see if they could do anything and they said they are a showroom and everything goes through their call center. So now I am stuck with a bed that is improperly put together and i have to wait another 1 month for a tech to come and flip the headboard..... making the wait almost 2 months.
It was a very enjoyable transaction very helpful in helping me get the best deal for my money. I highly recommend Rooms to Go
I am going to call and ask for a refund as this is ridiculous!
Horrible service. All the associates were just standing around and not wanting to help my husband or myself because they didn't think we would giving them a sale. I definitely would not recommend this store!
