A great place to stay in south Louisiana. Quiet and comfortable with a welcoming and friendly staff.
When I checked in, something was wrong with their computer, so they were unable to generate a printed copy of the receipt or a key card for my door. The desk clerk let me in and informed me that they'd let me back in if I left. (Makes me question if just anyone walked in and asked to be let into a room!)
The bedrooms were okay. The master jacuzzi bathtub was nice, but the jets hardly worked. We had to from our first room because it felt really moist. Both our rooms had a strange smell in it, but the breakfast was very good. It's better than a 50$ hotel but not worth 100$.
The room was clean and pretty well laid out. Nothing fancy, but nothing lacking. I'd definitely stay here again, but next time I'll specifically request a non-smoking room. I'll specifically request a non-smoking room.
My room smelled of heavy cigarette smoke and the ice machine nearby outside was pretty noisy.
That place scares me! I was walking around at 10pm their was this girl around 20 banging on her door for around an hour until she went in. Then again that night around 12 I heard a woman scream down the hallway, but I never found out what it was...
Friendly staff very professional. I only had one pillow on the bed when we checked in. Called the front desk and she brought a couple more pillows up to third floor 5 minutes later. Breakfast was great! Excellent staff and experience. I wish every hotel was like this one. I highly recommend this location!
