When a friend and I went, we talked to an employee (I believe the owner). We were told that the heating lamps had been turned off, which was a bit concerning considering they had reptiles that require at least 100 degrees, and of course it was not that hot in the store. Not only that, they used under cage heaters, which can cause thermal burns on their bellies. The bearded dragon and chameleon were emaciated. When we told him our concerns as people who rescue bearded dragons, he pretty much brushed us off and kept trying to get us to buy something. When we mentioned that we rescue, he asked if ours were better now, which would've been fine if not for the condescending tone and his looked like he was going to die in the next couple of days. Like someone else had mentioned, they do have their kids there. The conversation we were having was constantly interrupted, which was irritating. He was holding the toddler while we talked and had a little bag of snacks thrown at us repeatedly. The other child kept running over, trying to get his attention. I have younger siblings so I understand kids are like that, but I feel like if you're going to bring your children to work, they should be able to behave. The only plus side to the place was that their other animals seemed to be doing fine; their fish selection is great, though the catfish tank was a bit small for more than one, in my opinion. I just wouldn't buy a reptile from this store.

Terrible. I was looking to get a BP from here, and a bumblebee morph in specifics. They kept telling me they’d get one soon, and I’d come in and they’d have a new shipment, no bumblebee. Also, their animals were terribly cared for. This went on for 4 months. Not only this, when I would come in the toddler would constantly would bug me about what I was going to buy, and the mother would not particularly care. Terrible pet store, don’t go here.

We just wanted to see the selection of dog food, the online info said open at 10am, but arrived at 1130 to find still not open. Ate lunch and shopped at Tuesday morning, arrived before 1250 to a sign saying open at 1. So we waited. Another family was waiting, including a man with crutches. The temp outside was 93 degrees. Another man arrived and waited. 1pm came, but the door stayed locked dispite there being someone inside. I called at 1:08 and turned my head to see the single man leave. I informed the lady who answered that people were waiting to come in since well before 1. She stated that she'd unlock the door when the owner arrived, but that she would be a few more minutes. I passed this info on to the other people waiting, including a couple that walked up as I was on the phone. I left and I believe, so did everyone else.

Cutest little animals and friendly staff but years ago I bought a guinea pig only for it to have 3 babies weeks later! I feel as though a pet store should know that after two weeks of age guinea pigs MUST be gender separated! I recently bought a bunny here because every place deserves a second chance, and I specifically wanted a girl and when I asked to check she didn't even look at the genitals to clarify that I was getting what I wanted. But we took (supposedly) her home and she is the funniest and sweetest little thing.. then I noticed marks on my arms. "There's no way they sold me a bunny with fleas" I thought.. then I looked and as I suspected she was crawling with fleas. And not only did she have them but I had gotten bitten as well. I can say I don't think I will be buying a pet from here again.

Nice small home style pet store. Its like a zoo with all the different kinds of snakes and spiders and lizards. Awesome open bird cages that you could stick your hand in, don't see ones like that anymore. Every once in a while they'll have an adorable puppy or cat in the cages, but they're super expensive.

Good luck!

I tried to shop local. It seems some of the other comments reflect this "open when we feel like it", attitude. I'm not sure I can get behind that.
