Dr. Gutierrez diagnosis, concerning our now 10 yr old daughter, helped save her life back in February and we are very grateful to him for that. However, per the urging of our PCP, we went to him about an issue that we thought pertained to her heart and it did not. Dr. Gutierrez was very rude to us because My husband was physically present and I was on speakerphone because I was at work. I tried to talk to him about how rude he was and he talked over me, cut me off and completely disregarded my complaint and feelings because I heard everything over the phone and he deemed it inappropriate. We were taken aback by his rudeness and our daughter's appointment yesterday, will be her very last appointment. You can't be a professional and combine your personal feelings with your patients.

Dr. Gutierrez diagonsed our son 8 years ago and helped save his life. He has been our son's doctor ever since. He may not be the cuddle them and kiss them kind of a doctor, but he is good at what he does. He respects our opinions when it comes to discussions about our son's care, and is always willing to explain and listen. He is a brilliant doctor and I am grateful for him because if it were not for Dr. Gutierrez my son would not be here today.
