I like Costco a lot! If you are not tied to particular brands you can save a lot here. It's worth it to sit down and figure out how much you spend a month in groceries, toiletries, and other everyday purchases then decide if you want the upgraded membership. Very nice pricing on "big" items as well like electronics and computers. Their generic brand is Kirkland and I have zero complaints about the quality or taste of any of the products I've tried. The wine and spirits are surprisingly good as well! Very fresh produce and the biggest sweetest grapes I've ever seen.
Very decent sized location. Parking doesn't appear to be an issue and the space is open, airy and well lit. Great prices on some things, but mediocre prices on others. Savvy shoppers will love this store. Pay especially close attention to liquor and wine for the Kirkland brand of alcohol. You'll find favorites here that you won't have suspected unless you're in the know on this.
I am so glad Costco moved down here. I live 85 miles away, and still drive to Lafayette to shop at Costco once a month. They have great prices on everyday items like bottled water, cat litter, dog food, bread, fresh vegetables and fruits. They also sell the absolute best men's white undershirts in the world. Nice thick soft cotton t shirts. They also have great prices on bedding and a lot more. I wish they were closer, but at least they are close enough for me to drive to
I LOVED my membership the first year not so much now. The prices have gotten so high that it is no longer worth the cost of membership for the "privilege" of shopping there. There are a couple of cashiers there that I avoid like the plague. Honestly the main reason I keep the membership is for the gas (which by the way really is pretty good) and the fact that I don't have to deal with Walmart
One of my favorite places in town. Always have a pleasant experience when visiting this store. The fresh produce is always great. Someone is always there to help, whether it be to locate something or help you load your groceries into the car. The samples, of course, are always a plus. Who doesn't love to try food before you buy it?!
